the short version: you can use the whole dress-up game without telling us anything about yourself, and we've built it that way on purpose.
who the data controller is
mypukki is a trading name of a sole trader in the united kingdom. for the purposes of uk gdpr and the data protection act 2018, that sole trader is the controller for the personal data described here. to reach us about anything on this page, email hello@getfigure.co.uk.
what we collect
- nothing, to play. the dress-up game needs no account, no email address and no sign-in. the pookie you make is stored in your own browser's local storage on your own device — it is not uploaded to us and we cannot read it.
- your email, only if you write to us. if you email hello@getfigure.co.uk we hold that correspondence so we can answer you.
- order details, only if you order a figurine. the order itself is taken by GetFigure through getfigure.co.uk, which collects your name, delivery address, email and payment details in order to make and post the thing. payment card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us.
- basic technical logs. our hosting provider records ip addresses and request logs to keep the site up and to defend against abuse.
why we're allowed to
- performance of a contract — to make and deliver a figurine you ordered.
- legitimate interests — to answer your emails, keep the site secure, and understand roughly how the site is used at an aggregate level.
- legal obligation — to keep transaction records for uk tax purposes.
- consent — for anything non-essential, which on this site currently means nothing at all: see the cookie page.
who else sees it
our web host, our email provider, GetFigure and its payment and printing partners for orders, and google, whose font service serves the two typefaces this site uses. we do not sell personal data, we do not share it with data brokers, and there is no advertising network on this site.
how long we keep it
emails for as long as the conversation is useful and then up to two years. order records for six years, because uk tax law requires it. server logs for a short rolling window set by our host.
your rights
you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to have it ported elsewhere. email hello@getfigure.co.uk and we'll deal with it within one month. if you're not happy with how we've handled it you can complain to the information commissioner's office at ico.org.uk.
children
the dress-up game is safe for all ages and collects nothing, which is how we meet the ico's age appropriate design code. buying a figurine is a purchase and is for adults — if you're under 18, please ask whoever pays the bills before you order anything.
where data goes
our hosting is in the uk or the eea. where a provider processes data outside the uk, it is done under the uk international data transfer agreement or equivalent safeguards.
getting in touch
the quickest way to reach a person is hello@getfigure.co.uk. we read everything and we'll come back to you within five working days.
